Will there ever be support for secure files? I need this to prevent users from hot linking to my media. I have tried the DNN Media module and it works with secure but does not work with FF.

It looks like the needed change (I'm guessing based on comparing the source) is that instead of a direct link to the file, it must be redirected through the LinkClick page:

Please fix this and I will buy immediately as this is my #1 show stopper issue.

Hi Nelson,

The reason we haven't implemented secure storage is because of the way that DNN handled "secure" files in early DNN 4.x version. When you access a secure file via a linkclick.aspx link, DNN actually reads the file into memory in order to return the result. With large files (like movies), this can cause the download to fail (if the web server runs out of RAM).

However, I've reviewed the current code in DNN 4.4.1, and it now reads 10k chunks, so it won't have that problem anymore (so it's safe for us to implement). Are you using DNN 4.4.1?
