Hi all,

I'm currently using QuicktimePlayer module version 3.1.1, build 5, and in FireFox the main menu is disappearing behind the player.

In Flash, I can use WMODE and set the transparency, but I'm not able to do this using the QuickTimePlayer settings.

Is there a solution for this problem?

Thanks in advance,

Peter

The "wmode" setting is a flash thing, it is not available for quicktime.

You can try using CSS - position: relative; and the z-index css element to control positioning of your menu, and the container/pane that the quicktime movie is in.

If your menu is inside a div/span, add css for it - position: relative; z-index: 10; And for the pane containing your content, add position: relative; z-index: 5. The z-index css element does not work unless you have position: relative or absolute.

@Anthony: Thanks, I will look at your solution.

@Velmurugan: I'm just using the standard DNN way, by adding the module to a placeholder in the CMS. I'm not using any code to add the player
