I have been using PayPal module 3.3.2 version on DNN 4.9.4 for past year. Yesterday client reported an issue with PayPal module. When user clicks on "Pay Now" button they get redirected to PayPal site and the follwoing error message i displayed:

"You have requested an outdated version of PayPal. This error often results from the use of bookmarks."

I researched and found a possible solution to this problem at the post below:

http://activeden.net/forums/thread/you-have-requested-an-outdated-version-of-paypal-this-error-often-results-from-the-use-of-bookmarks/23735?page=1

Suggestion:
PayPal Buttons with “xclick” need method from "POST" to "GET". Please help resolve this issue since you have a source code. Please contact me via email if you have any questions.

Thank you!

I'm in the same boat -- using the same version of Inventua PayPal which worked great until yesterday when PayPal made some sort of change. I have posted on the PayPal developers forum and Tim Howard said that Anthony has put together some sort of fix to the module. My Hero! How do I go about getting whatever it's going to take to fix it?

Thanks!

The problem was that PayPal implemented changes to prevent it from accepting posts with encoding type multipart/form-data (and DNN uses this encoding type). I have updated the module to work around the problem, and the updates are at http://www.inventua.com/?tabid=122
