I turn off URL rewrite  (host->host setting->Advance setting->

and update & restart)
Then I config
passthrough source module :

(place in page HOME in child portal and only host/admin can view it)

the URL I want to redirect is page Home of main portal

and I created a standard user (ID : abc - PW: 1234567) and login in main portal but I recieved the report "login failure",help me plzzz,it's very important with me :

 

P/S: my portal is running in IIS 7 (windows 7) and SQL server express 2005

You need to place the passthrough target on a page of it's own, and that page should be available to "all users". It should redirect to your home page.

Please paste the "login failed" message here. I cannot tell if it is a DNN message or a SQL server one (in which case you have put in the wrong password in your database connection string).

Also can you tell me which version of DNN you are using, and which version(s) of the passthrough source and target modules that you have installed.

my version DNN 5.4.1 and passthrought source 5.0 & target 5.1

What is the error message (paste it from the event log)

The module does not generate a "login fail" message, and as far as I know, neither would DotNetNuke or SQL server. The exact text of the error message is important, as it will help me to determine where the error is coming from, and therefore how to help you. The passthrough module does generate a "login failed" message.

Can you please send through the exact error message. If it is easier, send a screenshot to support@inventua.com.
