I know that it is possible to configure the top menu so that the side menu can be used as a sub-menu. I would love to be able to configure the side menu so that a side menu could be used as a sub-menu. Is this possible?

Thanks,

Pat

Hi Pat,

Not sure what you mean by "side menu could be used as a sub-menu". But if you set up the topmenu & use the sidemenu option to view the children of the "current" page, it may be what you are after?

Hey Anthony,

Very close - please let me explain the question a bit better. What you have suggested "set up the topmenu & use the sidemenu option to view the children of the "current" page" I am aware of being able to do this. What I would like to be able to do is the following - set up the sidemenu & use the sidemenu option to view the children of the "current" page - but I don't think it is possible to do this with the sidemenu currently. If it were able to do this then you could have unlimited (potentially) submenus from the sidemenu and the topmenu. I this is not already possible - I think it would be a fantastic enhancement! Cheers, Pat

Hi Pat,

I still don't understand what you mean. When you say "set up the sidemenu & use the sidemenu option to view the children of the "current" page" - what do you mean? (The way you have phrased it, it sounds like you just want to use the "current page" option - but obviously that's not the case). Perhaps an example of what you want would help? Or did you write "sidemenu" when you meant "topmenu" ?

Hey Anthony,

It is possible that what I am asking for already exists in the "sidemenu". I haven't installed either of the menus (sidemenu or topmenu) yet as I wanted to ensure that they have what I am looking for before downloading and installing (and of course buying). What I would like the side menu to be able to do is when I mouse over the page link that another side menu of the sub-pages appears/scrolls down to the side of the side menu. Similar to in Windows when you click "start>all programs>accessories>system tools>disk defrag" that multiple sub-menus can be displayed. If this is already possible - FANTASTIC - because that is exactly what I am looking for. If not I am suggesting that it would be a really cool upgrade!

Thanks, Pat

Ok, I think I understand now - you want popup/flyout menus? Our menu products don't do that. When we have a customer that needs drop-down menus, we usually use the Telerik menu product.
