Hi Anthony,

In our app we are passing values to the paypal module via query strings.

We'd like to prevent someone from changing the default payment in the URL string.

Can you implement some way to pass values to the module using session cookie variables, or some other way to mask the values being passed in the URL?

Thanks!

Andrew

You can use asp.net session variables for the default-description, default-reference and default-amount values. If a session variable is set and there's also a querystring value specified for the same value, the session value takes precedence.

Thanks Anthony,

Here's a piece of code we're using to try to get this to work.

Session("default-description") = cDeterminedFormType
Session("default-amount") = sDeterminedPaymentAmount
Session("default-reference") = sPaymentReference

But we haven't had any luck.

Can you take a look at this and see if this makes sense or maybe give us a code example.

Thanks!

That code looks ok. What version of the module are you using? (I am looking at the code for v3.3.4)

We're using 3.3.2

Where can we find 3.3.4?

Thanks again!

Andrew
